DBC Sons (Gujarat) Pvt Ltd has led the way in the business of handling ships in India which touched ports way back in the early 19th Century. We have always given a satisfactory turnaround to the ships, as stevedores, incurring no damage to either the ship’s equipment or the cargo.

 DBC Sons (Gujarat) Pvt Ltd along with its associates has a presence in all the major ports and most of the minor ports of India and were the pioneers in loading and discharging of heavy lifts and project cargo in India.

We work with a varied range of cargo; specialized steel pipes, structural's, heavy lifts, and the usual bulk and general cargo. We are particularly suited for the job, having a well stocked inventory of the most modern stevedoring equipment for the efficient handling of the cargo, and to this effect we mention very modestly that we have been the very first in India to handle the fragile imports of CKD for NYK/Maruti Udyog Limited and Steel pipes for the Gas Authority of India.

Bringing into play years of experience and expertise in successful execution of such assignments has helped us expand the list of clients, both domestic and multinational, to record a steady growth in volumes.

Although regarded as a time consuming activity in the past, the whole of stevedoring, loading, unloading and clearing should be treated as an integral part of the production and planning cycle.
